29 February 2024 One Source Update Keeping to our promise of regular communications from OneSource, we approach a pivotal point in our journey towards introducing Oracle Absence Management. We have exited our first round of Data Migration and completed our Professional User Training with Namos, our systems integrator. This training will now support testing which will commence early March. To best support our users with the upcoming changes, we will be engaging with managers across directorates, change and digital champions and leadership teams to cascade the important messages. Additionally, we are working on FAQ’s and will be sharing these alongside of training to mitigate the majority of queries. Below you will find a change journey for OneSource as we introduce Absence Management. The journey itself calls out the tasks we are working on as a project and when the engagement periods are all. And finally, we would like to formally announce that the schools of Walsall Council will be joining us on OneSource. Through January we have presented to the schools to inform them of OneSource capabilities and benefits for them and they have agreed to onboard their employees for self service. This is a small change for the project but it drives many improvements for both parties. It will streamline many paper forms and bring them online, it increases the users experience and simplifies the way they process self service tasks and gives them direct access to HR/Pay. This a welcomed change and reiterates that this platform is evolving and shaping with the council vision. Previous Article Next Article Please login or register to post comments.
