From July 2020, all staff will be able to access the new One Source system. To support staff, the One Source Programme Team will be hosting a number of manager and employee ‘show and tell’ system demonstrations, along with an opportunity for Q&A from mid-June. 
As we transition from our current system to the new One Source system, there will be a number of key cut off dates that will impact staff. This includes key cut off dates for Oracle systems and Qlikview, new user requests and user amendments, new approver requests and approver amendments, expense submissions, accounts receivable customer and invoice creation and refunds. There will be regular communications on key cut off dates from now until go-live so please ensure you are aware off them and reach out to the One Source Programme team if you are unsure. At Walsall Council, as part of the Walsall Proud Programme, we are embarking on a number of digital initiatives. One of these initiatives is the One Source Programme. The One Source system will deliver a new state-of-the-art, single cloud-based system for the majority of our finance, procurement, HR and payroll activities. One Source will be implemented in a phased approach commencing autumn 2019.
