28 August 2024 Get ready for One Source absence - Monday 2 September We are introducing the new Sickness Absence Module on Monday 2 September. Training guides and short videos are now accessible on One Source. Go to Follow Me > Help Guides and Videos > Employee Self Service to find them, or via the One Source Training Page. The FAQs for One Source have been refreshed and we’ve added sickness specific content. You can find FAQ’s here. A summary of the changes are below: Half pay and nil pay notification From September, we will be introducing Half and Nil Pay notifications in One Source. This is replacing letters and the notification will advise an employee of the intention to reduce to half or nil pay. This notification goes to both the employee and line manager. The notification will be sent 30 days before the employee drops down to half or nil pay. They will get an alert with the date this will happen. Other news We have been actively engaging with teams across the council and have shared communications relating to this change. You can find all of those on the One Source News pages here. The sickness tile in One Source is currently deactivated and will be replaced with a new tile for an employee called ‘Time and Absences’. For Managers you will be able to create or view an absence for your employees via My Team tile from Monday 2 September.
