21 May 2021 One Source update: Payroll go-live on track for 5 July What does it mean for me? From 5 July, all staff will be able to record overtime and view their payslips online through One Source. Paper payslips will no longer be produced and distributed to staff after this date. An exceptions policy will be in place and will be available for go live. In the meantime, if you have any concerns regarding access, please contact the programme team by emailing OneSource@walsall.gov.uk Do I need to do anything now? The final input date for claims and variations for payroll before we cut over to the new payroll system is Friday 4 June. To avoid any late or missed payments, please ensure you have submitted claims and variations by this date. How can I access training? If you would like to sign up to payroll module training in June or July you can do so using this quick online form. Further One Source training and support materials can found on the training section of the One Source web pages. What else does One Source offer? The new payroll module is in addition to the many features that are already available in One Source such as: Booking learning and development courses online Submitting expense claims Making requests for purchases Managing spend against budgets For managers, submitting sickness absence, approving expenses and performing recruitment tasks.
