27 September 2023 One Source - Changes are coming! What’s happening? As part of the One Source pledge for continuous improvement a health check has been carried out on the system and Walsall have been provided some recommendations on how to improve the system. Whilst we can’t do everything in one go 3 key areas has been identified for change in this project: Replacing Taleo recruitment system with Oracle Recruitment Cloud (ORC), this will see the decommissioning of Taleo and use more of the Oracle estate. Changes to absence management, which will mean the removal of some of the customisation currently in place and will allow employees to see their own absence records. Payroll reporting will have some changes to align Walsall to the new requirements. When will we see the changes? Absence and Payroll changes will take until 2024 to implement and work is on going to finalise plans and design.
